Eugene Johnson

EUGENE JOHNSON, age 84, of Jefferson City, TN went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Fort Sanders Medical Center following a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Justine Lauderback Johnson; parents, Eli and Addie Johnson; several brothers and sisters. He leaves to cherish loving memories, daughter, Beverly (William) Phipps of Jefferson City, TN; son, Eugene (Marilyn) Johnson of Morristown, TN; devoted grandsons, Jandl and Jarvis (Joanne) Stacy of Knoxville, TN; granddaughter, Ashli (Gary) Jenkins of Knoxville; four great-grandchildren, Shawn Stacy, Kayli, Meleah and Tavion Jenkins; sisters, Mary Katherine Johnson of New Market, TN, Eula Harris and Mildred Moore of Knoxville; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, friends, and the Martha Davis Church Family. The family extends a special thanks to Dr. Justin Goldrick, Dr. Chris Ramsey, 5th Floor Staff of Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center, the Knoxville Neurology Specialists, PL, HealthStar Physicians, and Covenant Hospice. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 26, 2010 prior to the 7:00 p.m. service at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City.
