Eugene "Gene" Goforth

EUGENE ?GENE? GOFORTH, of White Pine, TN, passed away after a brief illness at Fort Sanders Medical Center on March 18, 2010. He was a member of Leadvale Baptist Church and was a World War II Veteran, where he served as a medic, Gene was a member of the Leadvale Masonic Lodge #390, where he was a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite for over 50 Years, and a member of the Kerbela Shrine. Gene worked at American Enka, and retired from Roadway Express with over 20 years of service. He is survived by his wife Margaret Goforth; children, Anthony and Denise Kimbrough, William B. and Andrea Lampkin, Tina and Charlie Allen; grandchildren, Annie and Megan Kimbrough, Misty, Matt, Joshua, Alexandria, and Kayden Henry, all of White Pine; sister, Louise Jones of Collegedale, TN; also several nieces and nephews. There will be a Masonic Service on Sunday, March 21, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. followed by the funeral service in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine, with Rev. Charlie Harkleroad and Leadvale Masonic Lodge #390 officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 20, 2010 from 5-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
