Ethel K. Merriman

ETHEL K. MERRIMAN, age 83, of Dandridge, Tn passed away Thursday evening at St. Mary's Medical Center in Knoxville following a brief illness. She was an active member of the Dandridge First United Methodist Church, where she participated faithfully in the United Methodist Women and the church choir. Preceded in death by father and mother, Homer and Martha Kennedy; daughter, Sandra K. Tipton; grandson, Eddie Lee Tipton, Jr. Survived by husband, Tom Merriman; sons and daughters-in-law, Eddie and Patsy Tipton, Mike and Tracey Merriman; grandchildren, Margie, Sandy, Robbie, Tony, Joe, Scott, Jesse, Tommy and Sam; step-grandchildren, Stacey, Chris, Jason, Scott and Julie; brother, Franklin and wife, Faye Kennedy of Knoxville. Memorial services will be held Sunday at 6:00 p.m. at the Dandridge First United Methodist church with Rev. Marvin Howard and Rev. Larry DeVault officiating. Family will receive friends in the fellowship following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Dandridge First United Methodist Church, P. O.
