Box 1025 Dandridge, TN 37725 Phone (865) 397-2711 Fax (865) 397-9289 OBITUARY: ESTHER LAURA HUDSON BOUE, age 87, died July 28, 2005 at Jefferson County Rehabilitation Center in Jefferson City, TN following a brief illness. Mrs. Boue was born on November 13, 1917 in Walker County. She was preceded in death by a daughter and her husband, Andrew Francis Boue, who died April 14, 1982 while the couple resided in Murfreesboro, TN. Mrs. Boue was the second child of William Hudson and Opal Pearl Cox Hudson. His siblings were Ailene Hudson Thomas and Ray Hudson. She married Andrew Francis Boue on March 13, 1936 and had four children; Mary Elizabeth Boue (deceased), Margaret Ann Goforth of Leeds, Alabama, Andrew Francis Boue II of Dandridge, TN and William Louis Boue of Hendersonville, TN. Mrs. Boue is survived by her three children, nine grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. Mrs. Boue was a member of the Baptist Church and lived in various locations in Alabama, Tennessee and Kentucky while her husband was a construction superintendent with TVA. Funeral services were held at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge, TN and burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Murfreesboro, TN on July 30, 2005.
