ESTELLE MAYES HUMAN, age 77, of Jefferson City, TN passed away at 3:30 a.m. Monday, March 3, 2008 at Fort Sanders Regional Hospital following a brief illness. She was a long standing member of Circle Assembly of God (Knoxville). She retired from Magnavox with 38 years of service and was a member of Local # 748. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Grace Mayes; brothers, Junior, Samuel and James Mayes; sister-in-law, Gladys Mayes; brother-in-law, Rob Morgan. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Sherrie and James Bailey of Strawbery Plains; granddaughter, Angela (Michael) Johnson of Jefferson City; great grandsons, Mason and Trever; sisters, Mary Morgan and Beulah Horner, both of Jefferson City; brothers, Charles (Jewell) Mayes of Johnson City and Gene (Connie) Mayes of Jefferson City; several special nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Polly Mayes of Talbott and Linda Mayes of Michigan; extended family, Tommy Love, Florence, Alan and Tiffany Denton; and many special friends. Funeral sevices will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2008 from the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Reverend John Lawson officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Family and friends will gather at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 6, 2008 at the funeral home to proceed to Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
