She was a member of Hills Union United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Reneau; children, Willie, Ehtel, Viva and Janice. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ruby and Johnny Cate; son, Steve Reneau; son, Winfred Reneau; daughter, Betty Rimmer; sister, Hesta Lee Baxter, all of Dandridge. Mrs. Reneau celebrated life with eight children; twenty-five grandchildren; thirty-one great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 1, 2005 at Hills Union United Methodist Church with Reverend Cecil Baxter, Reverend Robert Brewer, and grandson, Terry Cate officiating. The body will be taken to the church to lie in state one hour prior to the funeral. Interment will follow the service at Hills Union United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday, July 31, 2005 at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge.
