Essie V. Thompson

ESSIE V. THOMPSON, age 87, of Jefferson City, TN passed away May 6, 2010 at Life Care Center of Jefferson City after a brief illness. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Jefferson City and attended Emmanuel Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Ted Thompson; daughter-in-law, Maxine Thompson; brothers, Donald and Jackie Moody. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Robert Crowl of Jasper, GA; son, Tommy Thompson of Morristown, TN; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Janie Thompson of Jefferson City; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Graveside memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 8, 2010 at Westview Cemetery with Dr. Sonny Strange officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home.
