Ernest S. Roach,

ERNEST S. ROACH, JR., age 82 of Dandridge, TN passed away Saturday afternoon, december 20, 2003. He was a retired general contractor, having owned and operated the E. S. Roach Construction co. for over 40 years. Ernest was a member of the French Broad Baptist Church and a veteran of the US Army, having served in World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest S. and Mabel Evans Roach, Sr. and son, Phillip Lee Roach. He is survived by his wife, Gladys Monday Roach; children, Ernest S. Roach III, Ronald Roach, Larry (Mary) Roach and Jasper (Rhonda) Roach; step daughters, Aniat (John) Loy and Darlene (Andy) Benson; several grandchildren; sisters, Louise (Ray) Hodges and Sara (William) Searle. Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 22, 2003 at Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Rev. Bill Kilday and Rev. Dan Moore officiating. Interment graveside service with military honors by the Volunteer State Honor Guard will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2003 at Asbury Cemetery.
