He was of the Baptist faith. Survived by son, Mike McCoig of White Pine; daughters, Sharon (Sue) Sinard of New Market, Diane Keller and husband, Glenn (Nip) or Morristown, and Debbie Pless and husband, Gary of White Pine; brother, Doug McCoig of White Pine; sisters, Agnes Thomas and husband, Charles of White Pine, and Hazel Fowler of Morristown; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 20, 2004 from the Farrar White Pine Chapel with Reverend Glenn Rines officiating. Graveside interment service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 21, 2004 at the White Pine Cemetery.
