Ernest L. "Ernie" Parker

ERNEST L. "ERNIE" PARKER, age 68, of Morristown, TN and formerly of White Pine, TN passed away at his home in Morristown on Sunday, March 28, 2010. He was a member and treasurer of Faith Baptist Church in White Pine for over 20 years. He was employed as an upholsterer at Shelby Williams for a number of years. Ernie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He is preceded in death by his parents, Romey and Irene Parker; brothers, Jake, Roland and R. T. Parker; sisters, Violet Collins and Beulah Keller. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Kay Parker; son, Eric L. Parker of Morristown; daughter, Kim Pressley and husband Brent of Morristown; grandchildren, Rachael, Hannah and Jordan Pressley; sister, Wanda and Carroll Sinard; brothers, J. C. and Dorothy Parker, Johnny and Margaret Parker, Carroll and Amy Parker, Harold and Sharon Parker, Ronnie and Ella Parker, Gary and Janie Parker. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine with Rev. Carroll Parker, Rev. Alton Towe and Rev. Henry Owens officiating. Graveside interment service will follow in Hamblen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
