Enoch Chester Coffey

Enoch Chester “Shine” Coffey, age 86 of New Market, TN passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was retired from Superior Steel. He is preceded in death by his parents, David Dee and Leona Coffey, sisters, Margaret Holt and Esther Winstead, brothers, Miller, Milton, and Floyd Coffey. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Ethel Coffey, daughters, Mary Coffey of Strawberry Plains, TN, and Lori (Sonny) Harmon of Midway, TN, sons, Mike (Mona) Coffey of Fenton, MI, and Martin (Debra) Coffey of New Market, TN, several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, sister-in-law, Gwen Coffey of Morristown, TN, several nieces, and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, July 5, 2015 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. Lonnie Douglas Dalton officiating. Family and friends will gather at 12:45 p.m. Monday, July 6, 2015 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a 1:00 p.m. graveside interment service. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Sunday prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
