Emma Kate Norton Cook

Emma Kate Norton Cook, age 91, of Strawberry Plains, TN passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Jefferson County Nursing Home. She was a member of Paw Paw Hollow Baptist Church. Preceded in death by father and mother, Rufus T. Norton and Emma Wagner Norton; husband of 62 years, Rev. Edd Cook; sister, Ruth Norton White; brothers, Marvin C. Norton and Edward F. Norton. Survived by whom she considered her foster son, E. Luke Greene and wife Josephine; several nieces and nephews and several special friends. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 14, 2013 at Paw Paw Hollow Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie White and Rev. Sam Grindstaff officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove Piney Cemetery. The family will receive friends 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. Monday prior to the service at the church.
