Emerick "Rick" Butler

EMERICK (RICK) BUTLER was born August 14, 1928, and passed peacefully on September 6, 2016. Rick was a resident of Dandridge, TN at the time of his passing. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Emerick and Rose Butler; sister, Delores Casebolt; and brother, Ron Butler. Rick is survived by his beloved wife, Judith Butler; his children, Bruce (Victoria) Butler and Paula Butler; step-children, Kraig (Kristyn) Wilson, Kelly (Barbie) Wilson, Skip Wilson; sisters, Pat (Howard) Fite and Laura (Jerry) Jacobs; sisters-in-law, Reggie (John) Adams and Wendy (Rick) Wheeler. Rick was blessed with two grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a very special niece, Terry Casebolt-Ivkov. In 1989 Rick retired from the Ford Motor Company and moved to Tennessee with his wife, Judith. Rick enjoyed retirement to the fullest in this place he called home. A celebration of life service will take place on Monday, September 12, 2016 at 4:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge, TN with Reverend Ron Carrel officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00pm until 4:00pm prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Smoky Mountain Hospice, PO Box 754, Newport, TN 37822.
