Elsie Louise Vaughn

Elsie Louise Vaughn, age 67 of Morristown, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. She was retired from 1st Tennessee Bank and a longtime member of Morningside Baptist Church. Elsie is preceded in death by her parents, James and Bertha Thompson and in-laws, Aldon and Louise Vaughn. Survivors include her husband of 42 years Mike Vaughn, son, Jimmy Vaughn, grandchildren, Quinten and Zander Vaughn, brother, Lynn (Laura) Thompson, sister, Barbara Chadwick, brother Kenneth (Theresa) Thompson and sister Carolyn (David) Vaughn, also several nieces, nephews and other family members. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2016, 7:00pm at Morningside Baptist Church, with the Rev. Ross Woody officiating. Family will receive friends from 5-7:00pm prior to the funeral service. Graveside Interment will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, 1:00pm in Hamblen Memory Gardens. The family has requested that In Lieu of Flowers memorial donations be made to Morningside Baptist Church Building Fund, 2202 Chestnut Ave., Morristown, TN 37814.
