Elsie Cody Sartain, age 73, of White Pine, TN passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare Systems. She is preceded in death by her parents; Emmitt and Linda Cody; brothers, Emmitt Cody Jr and Burt Cody; sisters, Margaret Baxter and Idabell Cody. She attended Salem Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Billy Joe Sartain; children, Dennis Sartain and wife Kathy, Benny Sartain and wife Darlene and Jamie Beningo and husband Mike; grandchildren, Tiffany Campbell, Brian Sartain, Justin Stanton, Kasey Rackley, Jessee Sartain, Chris Barnard and Aaron Barnard; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Wilbert, Allen, Cecil, Paul and Robert Cody; sisters, Jennie Grey and husband Tommy, Irene Smith and husband Harrison and Dorothy Toby and husband J.C. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2015, 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home, White Pine with the Rev. Billy Dale Shelton officiating. Family will receive friends from 5-7:00pm prior to the service. Graveside Interment will be held on Friday, March 20, 2015, 11:00am in White Pine Cemetery.
