Elsie Phillips, age 69 of Dandridge,TN died Wednesday, September 25, 2002 at her home. She was a member of the Valley Home Pentecostal Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hayes Phillips and parents, Lee and Martha Jane Pace. She is survived by her children, Gerald Phillips of Tolu, KY, Joe Phillips of Morristown, TN, Tery Phillips of Dandrdige, TN, Danny Phillips of Hot Springs, NC, Daryl Phillips of Dandridge, TN; daughter, Carolyn Tittle of New Market; 27 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sisters, Pearl Sexton of Morristown, Delorey Woods of Ewing, VA, Ethel Turner of Miami, FL; special nieces, Ada McNabb of Jefferson City and Freda Newberry of Ohio; special friend, Mary France of Jefferson City. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 28, 2002 at the Valley Home Pentecostal Church with Rev. Ray Yeary and Rev. Mike Sledge officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 27, 2002 at he funeral home.
