Elsie Mae Clevenger

Elsie Mae Clevenger, born September 1, 1931, passed away February 15, 2011 at Ridgeview Terrace Life Care in Rutledge. Elsie was preceded in death by her mother, Lillie Beck Clevenger; special cousin, Campbell Evans; uncles, Jack and Creed Beck, uncles, aunts and cousins. Elsie was a member of Nina Baptist Church in White Pine and a lifetime member of Jefferson County Rescue Squad Crewettes. She loved helping people and small animals. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses, CNA?s and staff of Ridgeview Terrace for all the loving care given to her during her stay there. She is survived by several cousins and their families, also several friends and her church family. A graveside interment service will be held on Friday, February 18, 2011 at 11:00am in French Broad Church of the Brethren Church Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Norris officiating.
