ELMO CATE, age 47, of New Market, Tn passed away on Friday evening, August 25, 2006 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical center following a brief illness. Preceded in death by grandfather, Jack Cate and uncle, Lynn Cate. Survived by mother, Carolyn Cate Parrott; grandmother, Reba Cate; sister and brother-in-law, Penny and Michael Eldreth; step-children, Joseph and Jeremy Bull and Richie Wilhite; nieces, Whitney and Jennifer Guinn; nephew, Allen Guinn; special friends, Mary Susie Foster and Jason and Kevin Foster. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 28, 2006 at the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Rev. Kyle Cate officiating. Interment graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday ata Cate Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. prior to the service.
