ELLEN INGRAM, age 94, of Talbott, TN passed away at 9:45 a.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Jefferson City Health and Rehab following an extended illness. She was a member of White Pine First Church of God. Preceded in death by parents, Bert and Delia Stroupe; brother, Dana Stroupe; and sisters, Imogene Pryor and Retha Wice. She is survived by her loving husband of 76 years, Orben Ingram; son, Eugene Ingram and wife, Judy (Green) Ingram of Talbott; sister, Hazel Seal of Morristown; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jack and Minnie Welch of Talbott, and Faye Welch of Talbott; grandchildren, Sean Tilley (Julie) of Strawberry Plains, Brian Tilley of Crossville, and Amanda Hopkins of Talbott; great-grandchildren, Kambryn Tilley, Tosha Edwards, Landi Tilley, Shaedon Tilley, Austin Tilley; and special great-granddaughter; Michaela “Boog” Hopkins; great-great grandchildren, Rylin Edwards and Gabrielle Tilley; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the special staff of Jefferson City Health and Rehab for the kind and loving care given to Ellen. We pray God will richly bless each of them and a special blessing for Ruth Marshall. We would also like to thank Amedysis Home Health for their kindness and support. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 15, 2015 at Farrar Funeral Home with Minister Steven Hodgin and Minister David Bugg officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 prior to the service. Family and friends will gather at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a 10:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
