Elizabeth "Mutt" Clark Owens

ELIZABETH "MUTT" CLARK OWENS, age 83, of Strawberry Plains, TN went home to be with the Lord on July 14, 2009. She was a member of Dumplin Baptist Church and retired from Magnavox. Preceded in death by husbands, Hal Denton Underwood and Lee Alvin Owens; parents, Gardner W. Watson and Betty Davis Watson; brothers, Bill, John, Bud, Charles and Dick Watson; sisters, Eula Chesney and Muggy Sherlin. Survived by daughter, Sandy Romines; grandson, Tyler Maloof; son, Mark Owens; several nieces and nephews; precious pet, Daphney. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 16, 2009 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Patton and Rev. Ron Jones officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. Family and friends will meet at Oak Grove Cemetery on Friday morning for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
