Eileen Poe

Eileen Griffin Poe, age 92, passed peacefully on 5/7/19, a longtime resident of Dandridge she had spent several years living with her sister Rosa, niece Donna and nephew Steven Aaron. She is proceeded in death by her husband Winfred Poe, father Sanders Aaron Griffin, mother Mettie Baker Griffin, brothers Curtis and Wayne Griffin and sister Luizie Griffin. She is survived by her Sister, Rosa Lee Aaron; nieces, Donna Aaron, Linda Hillard, and Kay Jordan; nephews, Steven and David Aaron, Gary, Jerry and Paul Griffin; Several great and great-great nieces and nephews; and her special friend and caregiver Tammy Smith. She will be dearly missed by the young lives she touched in the last years of her life, Lillee and Luke Rolland, Charlie Tuffs and Troy W Aaron who all love her as Nanny. The family will receive friends at Farrar Funeral Home of Dandridge Wednesday, May 15, 2019 from 5 pm until 6pm. The funeral service will follow with niece Donna Aaron officiating.
