Ehtel Reneau Shipley

Ethel Reneay Shipley, age 66 of Dandridge, Tennessee, passed away Friday, September 13, 2002 following a brief illness. She attended Grants Chapel United Methodist Church and was a former employee of the Gaby Hosiery Mill. Preceded in death by her father, Sam Reneau and brother Willie Reneau. She is survived by her husband, Thomas A. "Pete" Shipley; mother, Esta Loveday Reneau; son, Tommy and Jenny Shipley; daughters, Kay and Sam Shipley, Theresa and Randy Weisenbaler, Kethryn and Richard Ball, Michelle and Parker Roberts, Vivian Lee and Jimmy Hubbard; grandchildren, Charles and Amy Shipley, Anthony and April Shipley, Amanda Branam, Lisa Branam, Wendy and Travis Parton, Audrea Ann Ball, Haley Shipley, Trevor Shipley, Porsha Shipley, Nicholas Humbard; great grandchildren, Samuel Shipley, Samantha Shipley, Nicole Shipley, Isiaiah Davis; brothers, Winfred and Stephen Reneau; sisters, Betty Rimmer, Janice Cagle, Ruby Cate and Viva Parker; special friends, James and Bryant Walker; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Sunday, 2:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stephen Burkhart officiating. Burial followed in Hills Union Cemetery in Dandridge, TN.
