Edward (Eddie) Mills

Edward (Eddie) Mills, age 56 of Newport, Tennessee passes away at 4 p.m. on Monday, November 18, 2002 at Cocke County Baptist Hospital. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a member of the American Legion Post #113 of Jefferson City. He was preceded in death by his father, James A. Mills and grandparents, Walter and Janie large and C. E. and Annetta Mills. He is survived by his mother, Edith Mills of Knoxville; sister, Carolyn Mills of Knoxville; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, 2002 at the Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Colbert officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 prior to the services. In lieu of flowers, the family requsts that memorials be made to the Jefferson County Humane Society, 310 Lanfill Road, Jefferson City, TN 37760 or to Appalachian Outreach, 190 W. Old A. J.
