Edward J. Lozier

Edward J Lozier,75, of Dandridge, TN formally of Shreve, OH went home to be with the Lord Tuesday,  September 26, 2023.  He was born on Oct 30, 1947 in Wooster, Ohio to Raymond & Alice Lozier.  He grew up in Shreve, OH and graduated from Triway High School in 1965.  Drafted in 1967, he is a veteran of the US Army. Ed worked for Magna Power, Goodyear Aerospace, Columbia gas, Quality Farm & Fleet and the owner of Lozier's Engine Shop.

He married Ruth Wampfler on Aug 18, 2001.  

You could always find him doing something in the yard, in his woodshop or tinkering on an engine.  In the evenings or on the weekends he could be found listening to or watching an Ohio State football game, or a  Cleveland Indians baseball game.  

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Lozier of Dandridge TN; daughter, Terri Hershberger of Dalton, OH; brother, Nelson Lozier of Port Clinton, OH, sister-in-law, Lorna Lozier;  step-daughter, Hope (Doug) Saunier of Dalton, OH;  grandchildren, Tyler (Shelby) Lozier, and Rielly (Tate) Bucher, both from Dalton, OH;  Jennifer Saunier (Vance Hanlin) of Philadelphia Pa, Samantha (Lukas) Johnson of Massillon OH; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jack , and sister Sharon.

He is being cremated per his wishes .  There will be a celebration of life in Fredericksburg, OH at a later date.
