GERALDINE GWIN HALL, age 76 of White Pine, TN passed away Friday evening, April 16, 2004 at Mariner Health Care Center, Newport, TN following an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her father, George Mark Gwin; mother Frances Gwin Hill; infant sister, Teresa Gail Gwin; brother, William Austin Gwin. She was born April 7, 1928 in Gadsden, AL, where she was baptized at the Eastside Baptist Church and later rededicated her life at Watson's Chapel Baptist Church in Madisonville, TN. A precious mother and beloved grandmother, she is survived by her children: Myra Hall Samples and husband Jim, Brenda Hall Talley and husband Mike, Rex Hall and wife Kathy, all of White Pine, Mark Hall and wife Amy of Madisonville; grandchildren, Zane West, Shannon Hall, Shawn Ivy, Michelle watkins, Cannan Talley, Lashay, Autumne, Cierra, and Ian Hall; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Martha Jane Hill; half brother and sisters, Clifford Hill, Alice Clanton and Gus Hill, Jr.; step brothers and sisters, Hoyt Hill, Bertha Phillips, Robert Hill, Marie Barksdale, Betty Hill and Bessie Ruth Partain. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Ernesto Mejie for his kind care and personal attention to Geraldine, who really admired and trusted him. Funeral services will be Sunday, 4 p.m. at Farrar White Pine Chapel with Reverend Dennis Strange officiating. Interment graveside services will be 2 p.m., Monday at White Pine Cemetery.
