Hodges, age 100, of Jefferson City, TN, passed away September 17, 2007 at St. Mary's Jefferson Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Jefferson City. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Hodges; sons, Calvin and Lew Hodges; Sons-in-law, John Seabrook and Lamar Toney; daughter-in-law, Lettie Hodges; grandsons, Jerry Dean Hodges and James Lamar Toney; granddaughters, Anna Lisa Hodges and Patricia Hodges Black; mother and father, L.O. and Elizabeth Scott. She was one of thirteen children, four brothers and eight sisters, with three sisters still living. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Harry and Jeanette Hodges; Donny and Linda Hodges; daughters, Jo Ann Seabrooks and Martha Toney; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation and gratitude to each of the following care providers: Dr. Leann Byrd, M.D.; all the nursing staff (RNs, LPNs and CNAs); and the housekeeping staff of St. Mary's Health System in Jefferson City; St. Mary's Supportive Care Team; and all the personnel of Life Care Center of Jefferson City. Each of these gave of themselves and their special God-given abilities and gifts to comfort our mother as well as the individual family members during this time. Their compassion, empathy, and love are deeply appreciated and will not be forgotten. Thank God for each of you. You will remain in our hearts. Funeral services will be held 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 19, 2007 from Farrar Funeral Home East Chapel with Reverend Ward Ashley officiating. Family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. prior to the funeral services. Family and friends will gather 12:45 p.m. Thursday at Oak Ridge Memorial Gardens for a 1:00 p.m. Graveside Interment Service.
