She was a member of Rocky Valley Baptist Church and taught a Sunday School class for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Churchman; a daughter, Evelyn Churchman Watkins and a son, Lowell Churchman. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Reverend John Churchman and his wife, Edith, of Alcoa, TN; six granddaughters; ten great grandchildren; sister, Bonnie Proffitt of Jefferson City; several nieces and nephews; special friend and caregiver, Janice Johnson. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2005 at the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Reverend Dwayne Whittington officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday evening, March 25, 2005 at the funeral home.
