Edna Acuff

EDNA ACUFF, of the Strawberry Plains, TN community went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at the age of 94. Edna was a loving wife who was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Acuff. Edna graduated from Carson Newman College, where she received her teaching degree. Edna taught third grade at Rush Strong School and later fourth grade at Sunny View School in Knox County. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Hugh Snodderly, Bruce Snodderly and Carl Snodderly. She is survived by her nephew, Lynn Snodderly; and great-niece Katy Bragg of Cleveland, TN. A private gathering at the graveside will be held at the First Baptist Church Cemetery in Strawberry Plains due to the current pandemic. Condolences may be sent at farrarfuneralhome.com.
