Edith Sosted McClellan

EDITH SOSTED MCCLELLAN, age 103 of Dandridge, TN passed away at her home on April 1, 2005. She was preceded by her husband, George McClellan in 1968; sister, Lillian Lindsey and brother, Harold Sosted. A graduate of Wisconsis Normal, she taught in Bloomer, married and moved to the Chicagoland area. After raising the family and retiring, Edith and George moved to Long Beach, Mississippi. Upon George's death, Edith returned to Eau Claire and resided at Half Moon Lake apartments, which was a short walk to her birth home. A 100th birthday party with over 100 guests and family signaled her move to Tennessee. She is survived by her daughter, Joan G. Lundregan of Littleton, CO and son, John and wife, Shirley McClellan of Dandridge; 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
