Edgar Hurst

EDGAR HURST, age 84, of Talbott, TN passed away at 9:15 a.m. Friday, February 6, 2009 at his residence following a brief illness. He retired from the Finishing Department at Berkline Corporation with 40 years of service. He faithfully attended Lebanon Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude Hurst; several brothers and two sisters. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Ray Lovin of Talbott; granddaughter, Tammy Lovin of Talbott; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 9, 2009 from the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Reverend Henry Wheeler and Reverend R. J. Seal officiating. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday morning at Hamblen Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
