He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, where he served in Vietnam. Preceded in death by his mother, Blanche Horton. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Janice Arwood Venable; son, Brian Venable; special granddaughter, Sydney Venable; special niece, Ashley Arwood; and several more family and friends to numerous to name. Services for Eddie will be on Saturday, July 5, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine with Reverend Brian Osborne officiating. Graveside interment service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 6, 2008 at White Pine Cemetery with military honors by the VFW Post #5266 Honor Guard.
