Eddie M. Taylor

Eddie M. Taylor, age 84 of White Pine, TN passed away at 3:40 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2003 at Morristown-Hamblen Hospital following an extended illness. Member of the White Pine First Freewill Baptist Church and was retired from Magnavox after 29 years of service. Preceded in death by daughter, Rita Lynn Taylor Pedigo; parents, Laddie and Lydia Taylor; sisters, cora Holt, Ossie Holt, Daisy Yarbrough and Lucy Golden; brother, Phillip Taylor. Survived by loving wife of 63 years, Laura Taylor; daughter and son in law, Sandi and Oliver Sartain of White Pine, Eva Deab (Edie) and David (Red) Reneau of Talbott; grandchildren, Donna Shands of Portland, OR, Steve Sartain of Morristown, TN, Melissa Buell of White Pine, TN, and Kristi Adams of Maryville, TN; great grandchildren, Brandon, Blake and Brett Buell of White Pine, Noah Porter Shands of Portland, OR, Harlee Daniel Adams of Maryville; special nieces, Selma Fisher and Shirley Meadors, both of White Pine; several other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 20, 2003 at 8 p.m. from the Farrar White Pine Chapel with Rev. Doug King and Rev. Richard Holt officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2003 at White Pine Cemetery for an 11 a.m. graveside interment service.
