Eddie L. Jones

Eddie L. “Ed” Jones, age 64 of White Pine, passed away at Johnson City Medical Center on Sunday, October 4, 2015. Ed was a member of First United Methodist Church in White Pine, a 1969 Graduate of Maury High School and a 1973 Graduate of Carson-Newman University where he graduated with a BBA, he is employed by Pinnacle Group. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Hal and Leora Jones. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Glenda S. Jones, daughter, Chanati and Jason Moore, grandchildren, Cole and Carson Moore, parents, Ethel and John Morie; extended family, Chuck and Teresa Smith, David and Tammy Smith and Amy and Roger Maxey, mother-in-law, Margaret Smith; nieces and nephews, Lurelle Maxey, Caleb Maxey and Glenn, Jeremy and Madison Smith. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2015, 7:00pm at First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Chris Ray officiating, family will receive friends from 5-7:00pm prior to the funeral service. Graveside Interment will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2015, 11:00am at Seahorn’s Chapel Cemetery, family friends and pallbearers are to gather in the cemetery at 10:45am for the service. The family has requested that In Lieu of Flowers Memorial Donations in Ed’s name be made to: First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 146, White Pine, TN 37890.
