Earnest Eugene "Gene" Hillyard

Earnest Eugene "Gene" Hillyard, of Baneberry, TN went home to be with his Savior on Sunday, February 2, 2014. He was born on May 4, 1929 in Washington, DC, and is survived by his wife of 63 years, Doris Ann. He has two daughters, Wendy Krempels and her husband Doug, and Ruth Ann Yu. Wendy and Doug have two sons, David and Craig, daughter-in-law, Jasmine and a daughter, Lynnea Moncofsky and her husband Scott. Lynnea and Scott have two daughters, Quynn and Eden. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 from 10-11:00am at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine with funeral service to follow at 11:00am. Graveside Interment will be in White Pine Cemetery following the funeral service. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Missions at Leadvale Baptist Church, 874 Leadvale Church Road, White Pine, TN 37890, where Mr. Hillyard was a member.
