Broadway Blvd. Jefferson City, TN 37760 Phone (865) 475-3892 Fax (865) 475-9916 OBITUARY: EARLENE FAYE CATE COOK, age 59, of New Market, TN passed away at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 22, 2004 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Piney Baptist Church. Her parents, Earl and Edith Cate, preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Reuben G. (Butch) Cook and their five children: Suzanne Knight, Christopher Cook, Donna Henry and husband, Ray, all of Strawberry Plains, Tommy Cook and wife, Lauren of Knoxville, and Bradley Cook of South Haven, Michigan; six grandsons, Todd and Nicholas Knight, Jonathan, Jordan and Jacob Henry and Adam Cook; sisters, Wanda Arnold and family from Knoxville, Mary Cate Jones and family of Strawberry Plains, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Wanda and Charles Hamilton of Strawberry Plains; aunt, Mrs. Carrie Lou Estes of Jefferson City; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Clayton and Oma Cook; and her very special friend, Sue Elmore. The family wishes to express sincere appreciation for their care and love for Earlene and her family to the staff of Fort Sanders Third West and Fort Sanders Dialysis Clinic. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 23, 2004 from the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Reverend Bruce Martin officiating. Family and friends will meet at Pleasant Grove Piney Cemetery on Friday, December 24, 2004 for a 10:00 a.m. graveside interment service. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Bob Sharp, Randy Henshaw, Gayland Asbury, Danny Hobby, Tim Jones and Jeff Cate.
