Earl Bethel Price

Earl Bethel Price, age 81, of Jefferson City, TN, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Johnson City Medical Center. He is preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Vicie Price; sister, Mavis Roach; brothers-in-law, R.J. Reece and Jerry Bayless. He was a member and deacon of Deep Springs Baptist Church and retired from Magnavox after 31 years of service. He courageously fought a battle with Parkinsons for a number of years. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Jewell Price; daughters, Connie (Richie) Hayes, Cathy (Jorge) Delgado; granddaughters, Mallory and Lydia Hayes, Reina and Jacqueline Delgado; special nephew, Mark Roach; sisters and brothers, Tom (Glenna) Price, Dee (Josie) Price, Norma Reece, Doris (Bill) May; and several nieces and nephews. Thank you to the caregivers, Beth Shults, Bonnie Baker, and Amedisys. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Deep Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Chad Chambers and Rev. Richie Hayes officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service at the church.
