Douglas "Pop" Shrader,age 84 of Dandridge, passed away Saturday morning, November 16, 2002 at the Jefferson County Nursing Home following an extended illness. He was a member of the French Broad Church of the Brethern; a veteran of the US Army and World War II and was a retired farmer. Preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Ailey Shrader, he is survived by his son, Larry Shrader of Jefferson City and granddaughter, Kim Severiano of Dandrridge; sisters-in-law, Anna Mae Messer, Betty Ailey and Geraldine Ailey; brother-in-law, Marshall Ailey; several nieces, nephews and cousing; special friends, Mike and Teresa Ailey. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 19, 2002 at the French Broad Church of the Brethern with Rev. Ron Wine and Bro, Mike Adams officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge, Tn.
