DOROTHY ALICE ?DEVOTIE? COX, age 79, of Morristown, TN went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at Life Care of Morristown. Preceded in death by parents, G. W. and Ethel Devotie; sons, Donald Cox and Jackie Cox; daughter, Diane Miles; and also brothers and sisters. She is survived by children, David (Carolyn) Cox, Charles Cox and Lorene Trent; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and special grandchild, Michael Trent; brothers, Joe Devotie, Charlie Devotie and David Devotie; sisters, Ruth Ball, Rosie Devotie and Ruby Shropshire; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, December 26, 2009 at the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Reverend Garland Sergant officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
