Dorothy Webb Catron

DOROTHY WEBB CATRON, age 87, of New Market, TN passed away Tuesday night, August 24, 2010 at her home. She was born in the Kansas Community of Jefferson County on May 7, 1923 and was a member of the Talbott Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by parents, Ben and Dicie Reese Webb; brothers, Clinton ?Spider? Webb, Herbert Webb, Bernard Webb, and Ben ?Toots? Webb, Jr.; sons-in-law, Sandy Griggs and Ronnie ?Checker? Carmichael; and great-granddaughter, Emma Cody. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Neill Catron; daughters, Carole (David) Turner of Talbott, Susan Griggs of Jefferson City and Mary Neill Carmichael of White Pine; grandchildren, Carrie Turner, Jessica Turner, Daniel Griggs, Jennifer Griggs; step-granddaughters, Amanda Carmichael and Kristin (Lukeus) Weems; great-granddaughter, Gracie Turner; and very special caregivers Nancy Metler, Brenda Lovin, Hollie Vaughn and Susan Porter; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 27, 2010 at Talbott Cumerland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Tommy Sinclair, Rev. Richard Snowden and Rev. Richard Reid officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Saturday morning at Jarnigan Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
