Dorothy Cate

Dorothy Cate, age 79, of Norris, TN, formerly of Dandridge, TN passed away Sunday, February 22, 2025. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Dandridge. She was a long-time beautician and co-owner of the Hair Villa of Dandridge where she served many faithful customers over the years. She will be remembered for being a kind and gentle person who was loved and admired by all that knew her. Dorothy was preceded in death by her loving husband Gary Cate and her parents Henry Lossen and Bonnie Long; sister, Lura Jane Carden, and brothers, Roy Long, Glen Long, Monroe Long, and Leon Long. Dorothy is survived by sisters, Elsie Kibler, Louise (Trent) McNeeley, Darlene (Chris) Irwin; brothers, Arlie (Adina) Long, Benny (Vickie) Long; and several nieces and nephews.

Private services for the family will be held at Dandridge Memorial Gardens.
