Dorothy L. Ball

Dorothy L. Ball, age 85, of Heritage Center of Morristown,TN formerly of White Pine,TN passed away at Lakeway Regional Hospital on Thursday, December 24, 2009. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lester Ball; daughter, Elaine Therman Herring; parents, Ike and Dovie Brown; brothers, Arvine, Mont and John Henry Brown; sisters, Georgia Brown and Ortha Stuart. She is survived by her children, Arlene Ball, Betty (Rodney) Riddlebarger, Kathy (John) Rodgers; son-in-law; Phil Herring;grandchildren,Pam (Alchie ) Collins, Rodney (Brandi) Riddlebarger, Jennifer and Amanda Collins, Lindsey Thurman;great-grandchildren,Noah, Abigail and Micah Collins, Zayne Tinsley, Mikayla and Madison Shoemaker, sisters: Ruth (James) Whitlock, Lucy Brown; brother,Lacy (Dorothy) Brown; sister-in-law, Bobbie Jean Ball Freeman; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be on Sunday, December 27, 2009 at 8:00pm in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine with the Rev. Dennis Loy officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Family, friends and pallbearers will meet on Monday, December 28, 2009 at 9:30am at the funeral home to go in procession to Dandridge Memorial Gardens for a 10:00am graveside interment service.
