Dorothy C. Ager

DOROTHY C. AGER, age 99, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, passed away Friday, September 12, 2008 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. Dorothy lived at Chandler House in Jefferson City, TN and was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Sevierville, TN. She enjoyed her many friends at Chandler House and working with the Alzheimer's patients. She also enjoyed knitting hats for cancer patients. Preceded in death by her husband, George M. Ager, Sr. of Philadelphia, PA. Dorothy is survived by her son, George M. Ager, Jr. of Churchville, PA; and daughter, Claire McCloy of Lakeland, FL; grandchildren, Jack McCloy of Lakeland, FL, Cindy Poe of Dandridge, TN, Don McCloy of Dandridge, TN, Pam Abrams of Scranton, PA and Jackie Neeld of Philadelphia, PA; great-grandchildren, Brandon and J. P. McCloy, Denise and Jennifer Poe of Dandridge, Mandy and Brian Abrams of Scranton, PA, and John and Elisabeth Neeld of Philadelphia, PA. In accordance with Dorothy's wishes, there will be no services here in Tennessee and she will be returned to Philadelphia, PA to be laid to rest beside her husband at St. Luke's of Philadelphia.
