Doris Virginia Rines

DORIS VIRGINIA RINES, age 79, of Talbott, TN died April 9, 2009 at Jefferson City Health and Rehab after a lengthy illness. She served as a long time registered nurse in Morristown and was a nursing school graduate of the Baptist School of Medicine in Memphis. A native of Hickory Ridge, AR, she enjoyed fishing on various lakes in Arkansas and was an avid reader. She was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Rines and her parents, Grover and Carrie Flowers Graff. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Andy and Leslie Rines of Knoxville; one grandchild, Rachel Victoria Rines; and special friends, Nina and Cozette Slocum of Hickory Ridge, AR, Juanell Jones of Galveston, TX, and Dot Presley of Mississippi. Memorial service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 13, 2009 from the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Rev. R. J. Seal officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
