Doris Jean Paschal

DORIS JEAN PASCHAL, age 80, of Jefferson City, TN, passed away peacefully at Jefferson County Nursing Home on December 1, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church. She had taught Sunday School for 50 years and was a teacher in the Jefferson County School System for 40 years. Preceded in death by parents, Rev. Sam and Elsie Collins Paschal; brother, Sam B. Paschal and infant sister, Catherine. Survived by sister, Margaret (Mayford) Jett; brothers, John (Julia) Paschal, Frank (Alma) Paschal, Lee (Carolyn) Manning; sister-in-law, Martha Paschal; several loving nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces; and many friends and relatives. She was a lovely lady cherished by all who knew her. The family will receive friends Friday, December 3, 2010 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home, with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. David Cross and Rev. Earl McCosh officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Saturday at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
