Donna Thomas Satterfield

DONNA THOMAS SATTERFIELD, age 77, of Dandridge, TN passed away Friday, July 1, 2016 at the Jefferson County Nursing Home. She was born and raised in Dandridge, the daughter of the late Bernice “Pete” and Ruth (French) Thomas. Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Satterfield, and daughter-in-law, Lisa Satterfield. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dandridge and was longtime Registrar of the Jefferson County Election Commission. Donna is survived by her children, Rhonda and Albert Ballance, Tim Satterfield and Gina Jenkins; granddaughter and special caregivers, Ashley and Chris Kauff; grandchildren, Emily(Matt) Idell, Ethan (Kristen) Satterfield and Elliott (Katelyn) Satterfield; great-grandchildren, Parker Idell, Bailey Kauff and Annzlee Satterfield; sisters-in-law, Mary Ellen Price, Alice Satterfield Beasley and Janice Satterfield; several nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends, Sally Hodge and Becky McCray. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the wonderful care she received from the staff at the Jefferson County Nursing Home. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial gifts be made to the First Baptist Church of Dandridge, P.O. Box 246, Dandridge, TN 37725. Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2016, 11:00 am at Hillcrest Cemetery in Dandridge with Dr. David Crutchley officiating.
