Donald Hall VanOrsdel

Donald Hall VanOrsdel, age 77, of Talbott, TN passed away peacefully at home. He served 43 years in the U. S. Air Force and the Department of Defense. He was born in Los Angeles, CA. Survived by his wife of 40 years, Kathleen; brother, Max VanOrsdel of California; step-sons, John Scott (Chris) Wallrich of New Hampshire, and Jeremy Wallrich of North Carolina. Don was active in veteran’s organizations, enjoyed model rail roading and reading. Private graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 13, 2021 at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Knoxville with Vietnam Veterans of America officiating. The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice and their staff for their wonderful care of Don. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
