Donald Hugh Thorpe

DONALD HUGH THORPE, age 61, born August 10, 1954, lived his dream to the fullest driving his 18 wheeler from coast to coast for forty years until his health suddenly took it from him. He died at home in Jefferson County on April 6, 2015. Preceded in death by mother, Trula Mae Thorpe and father Hugh Roger Thorpe, and brother-in-law, Michael. He is survived by his long time special friend, Donna Fawver; sister, Rhonda; brothers, Ronnie, Mr. and Mrs. David (Ina) Thorpe, Mr. and Mrs. Dewell (Teresa) Thorpe; nephews, Derrick, and David Thorpe, Jr. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City. Graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 10, 2015 at Paw Paw Hollow Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Farrar Funeral Home.
