Member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. He was a self-employed contractor and taught DOT Motorcycle Safety at WSCC. Survived by wife, Cathy Jobbitt; daughter and son-in-law, Jennie and Ott DeFoe of Knoxville; son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Veronica Jobbitt of Dandridge; grandchildren, Ali Jobbitt and Abbie DeFoe; mother, Karen Jobbitt of Dandridge; brother, David Jobbitt of Dandridge, Doug Jobbitt of Nashville, Jim Jobbitt of Dandridge; sister, Debbie McPherson of Florida. Memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, August 19, 2007 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church with Reverend John Thompson officiating.
