Donald Wayne Clark

DONALD WAYNE CLARK, age 68, of Jefferson City, TN passed away on April 6, 2013 at his home. He graduated from Kingsbury High School in Memphis, TN and Memphis State University with Bachelor and Masters degrees in Business Administration. He was an active member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity and treasured his life long friends. Mr. Clark was a retired Professor Emeritus of Marketing Management from Carson Newman University after 27 years. He was held in highest esteem by his students, who awarded him with the Excellence in Teaching Award for several years. His life passions were family, friends and travel. Since his retirement, he and Linda traveled extensively. He was a loyal fan of UT football and other sports. Prededed in death by brother, Charles Harris of North Carolina. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Linda Ann Clark; daughter, Kerri Lynne (Robert) Braly of Orlando, FL. Memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. Darrell Chambers and David Bugg officiating. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. The family requests that memorials be made to Carson Newman University, c/o Business Division, 1646 Russell Avenue, Jefferson City, TN 37760 to be used as student scholarships.
