Donald E. Carmichael

Donald E. Carmichael, age 81 of White Pine, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2016. He was a lifetime member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church. He was retired from American Enka, a beef farmer and an avid Tennessee Vol fan. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mattie Moyers Carmichael, son, Ronald (Checker) Carmichael, brother, Benjamin Carmichael and sister, Bobbie Lawson. Don is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jeanette Jackson Carmichael, son, Robert (Butch) and wife Betty Carmichael, daughter-in-law, Mary Neill Carmichael, grandchildren, Matthew (Kim) Carmichael, Amanda Carmichael and Kristen and husband Lukeus Weems, great-grandchildren, Sarah, Rebekah and Noah Carmichael, Ramsey, Collia and soon to be born Emmaline Weems, sister Mary and husband Leon Rogers, several cousins, nieces and nephews, special friends, Jerry and Suzie Kirk and Mike and Donna Dillard; godchild, Jeanie Miller. A memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, 7:00pm in Ebenezer United Methodist Church with family receiving friends from 5-7:00pm prior to the service at the church.
